Xiaomi Mi 10 and Meizu 17 to have Snapdragon 865
During the Qualcomm Summit in Hawaii, Bin Lin confirmed that Mi 10 will be the first phone that will launch Snapdragon 865. Although, we don’t know the launch date of the phone yet. Moreover, Meizu has also revealed on its official Weibo account that Meizu 17 will launch with the same chipset in Spring 2020. Motorola has also announced to reveal a smartphone with this chipset very soon. The new 865SD chipset will have a new Snapdragon X55 modem. In the event, Qualcomm has also announced the Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 765G – the new mid-range chipset with 5G support. After the launch of these chipsets, we will surely get many 5G enabled mid-range phones in the coming year. This year was for the foldable phones and high-end 5G phones. But in 2020, we will see the 5G phones at an affordable price.
