Latest LG Patent Shows A Bezel-less Smartphone Design
Ice Universe on Twitter unveiled the patents hinting at the LG’s first all-screen display phone. The patent suggests that LG will bring an all-screen phone with display hole in order to increase the screen to body ratio of the handset. According to the latest reports, a series of smartphone design patents were filed by LG with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO). These patents hinted at an all-glass display design. Furthermore, LG is adopting all screen display with a hole drilled inside of it. It seems quite similar to Samsung’s infinity O display. The company is adopting this design in order to increase the screen to body ratio. LG has faced some rough years in the past so the company is now following the footsteps of Samsung in order to regain their position in the market. The second South Korean tech-giant, LG is trying its best to implement the innovative and breakthrough technology so that it can bring it back to compete with other tech giants in the market. LG has already confirmed that it’s working on a foldable phone as well. LG will announce Foldable Smartphone in January at CES 2019.
