Facebook Dropped out of Top 10 Best Places to Work List
Facebook received the overall rating of 4.4 out of 5 as compared last year when it scored 4.5 points. This time the employees gave lower ratings for Facebook senior leadership and work-life balance. One of the Facebook an employee gave a review on Glassdoor, which stated as: “High profile projects can be extremely political and can really be dragged down by too many cooks in the kitchen. In a post-Cambridge Analytica world, there are huge slowdowns in releasing new features or products” The result clearly shows that the position of Facebook is declining over time due to mishandling of user data. The company was also accused of spreading misinformation via their fake campaigns on the platform. However, the overall employee reviews were positive which shows that when it comes to management, the company is still doing a good job. As far as the declining score is concerned, it’s normal and even Google was not able to make to the list of top 10 comfortable companies for employees.
